Dear Mesorah Family,

This week was highlighted by an incredible Maccabia, as two days of jam packed program, spirit and competition brought the entire camp together. Campers proudly represented one of our four core Jewish values: Torah (Purple), Tefillah (Green), Mitzvot (Blue), and Chesed (Yellow), competing in athletic events, creative challenges, and team competitions. Every minute was filled with excitement and energy that took over the camp, culminating in an epic Maccabia Finale hosted by Mesorah legend, Digital Dov! The atmosphere could not have been more filled with ruach and unity. While ultimately one team had to win, everyone left the Dome with big smiles and high spirits.

With fun filled activities, like our super creative (and messy) Nailed It! Mesorah Cupcake challenge followed the following evening by an epic night of Fear Factor!, our campers could barely catch their breath. Thursday brought Intercamp competitions, where our teams proudly represented Mesorah with outstanding teamwork and sportsmanship. While hosting 5 other camps for great sports competition, it was the visual of the unbridled excitement on our campers faces as they found their friends and embraced that truly stuck with us. The games were all played with competitiveness and sportsmanship that brought tremendous nachat to us all.

On Friday, the Girls Campus gathered for a Challah Bake, where they learned about the mitzvah of hafrashat challah, explored the meaning behind each ingredient, and braided their own challot for Shabbat.

The fun continues this Motzaei Shabbat with the Hockey Summer Classic and memorable rendition of Bedazzle Me!

Wishing all of our dear Camp Mesorah families a Shabbat Shalom!

Emunah and Rabbi Yahel Tsaidi
